AegisGates Vision AI is an intelligent security monitoring platform that transforms your cameras into cognitive security assets. Using advanced AI vision models, we analyze video footage in real-time and provide human-readable narratives of what's happening—from routine activity to critical security alerts.

Getting started is simple:

1. Sign up for a free account using Google SSO or email/password
2. Add your first camera (IP camera or webcam)
3. Configure Special Attentions (optional)
4. Start monitoring — receive real-time narratives and alerts

Your first camera includes a 7-day free trial!

AegisGates supports:

• IP Cameras with RTSP streams (most modern security cameras)
• Webcams connected to your computer
• Mobile devices streaming via webcam apps

As long as your camera provides a video stream, we can monitor it.

$20/month per camera, billed monthly via Stripe.

Your first camera gets a 7-day free trial (for accounts less than 7 days old). After the trial, you'll need an active subscription for continued monitoring.

Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Billing portal in your dashboard. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees.

You'll receive an email reminder 2 days before your trial expires. If you don't upgrade, your camera will be deactivated automatically. You can reactivate anytime by subscribing.

Currently, pricing is per-camera at $20/month. We're working on volume discounts for enterprise customers. Contact [email protected] for custom pricing if you need 5+ cameras.

AegisGates uses advanced AI to analyze every video frame. When the AI detects potential danger or matches your custom keywords (like "fire," "person," "fall"), it:

1. Generates a detailed alert message
2. Sends an instant email to your alert email address
3. Optionally sends SMS notifications (if configured)
4. Highlights the alert in your dashboard with a red badge

Special Attentions are our AI event detection engine that allows you to define custom events or scenarios you want to monitor. You can specify any situation you want the AI to watch for (e.g., "person climbing fence," "smoke detected," "package delivered," "child near pool"). When the AI detects these events in your camera feed, it generates immediate alerts and detailed narratives, helping you stay informed about what matters most to you.

We use an industry-leading neural AI model, a state-of-the-art vision system, combined with motion detection filtering. The system is highly accurate for:

• Person detection
• Object recognition
• Activity classification
• Danger assessment

However, no AI is perfect. The system may occasionally generate false positives or miss subtle events. We recommend using it as an assistant, not a replacement for human judgment.

No. We do not store video recordings. AegisGates processes short video clips (10 seconds) in real-time, extracts keyframes for analysis, generates a narrative, and then discards the video. Only text narratives are stored for your dashboard history.

The system captures 20-second video clips every 20 seconds, providing continuous coverage with no gaps. Motion detection filters out static scenes (no activity), so AI analysis only runs when motion is detected—saving costs and reducing false alerts.

Yes. All video streams are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not store video recordings—only text narratives. Your camera API keys are stored securely in our database with industry-standard encryption.

Only you. Camera feeds are private and tied to your account. AegisGates staff cannot view your video streams or narratives without your explicit permission. We process video for AI analysis, but no human reviews your footage.

Yes. AegisGates is designed with privacy in mind. We comply with:

• GDPR (EU data protection)
• CCPA (California privacy rights)
• SOC 2 principles (data security)

Common fixes:

1. Verify your camera's RTSP URL is correct
2. Check that the camera has internet connectivity
3. Ensure your subscription is active (not trial-expired)
4. Confirm motion detection is working (try moving in front of the camera)
5. Check your camera's API key is entered correctly

Go to your dashboard and click "Manage Billing" in the top-right corner. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:

• Update your credit card
• View invoice history
• Cancel subscriptions
• Download receipts
